My God and I

There I was, sitting in the pew, singing 'Faithful Love' and crying because Christ is truly the ONLY one who will not let me down. It was so cool to have a and having such a heart so full of gratitude that it spilled out all over my face . . .

. . . and then . ..

. . . and then Mike and Jenn went forward to place membership and Mike ended up getting baptised by Robert.

Proof positive that God loves to give out gifts when we least expect them and in quantities that are unreal in their proportions.

I think that was the song we were singing when i smiled so big because i could hear you singing (i love the joy that comes from your vocal folds) and then i didn't hear you anymore!
I'm so thankful for you ~and Robert~ and the friendship that we have with you guys! LOVE YOU SO MUCH

Just as you worry about me, so am I beginning to worry about you. You take on the problems of everyone near you, yet you hold tight to you own... a deadly combination of stress and worry. Share with me; let me carry some of your load.
I love you -

Ok, i will comment on Amy's comment. You know James 5:16 is one of my favorites right now, mainly because i have seen and felt the power of it. "Confess ... to now another and pray for one another so that you will be healed" I truly believe that this is 2-fold... we who lean on others feel that healing touch; but we who PRAY for each other also will be healed and we can't pray for those and be the leaning post to those that don't share their hurt and pain and heartache with us! God will take your hurt away, but your Christian family can heal your wounds!!! We love you so much!

I was finishing up a study on the Psalms of Ascent yesterday and I wanted to share something that came to mind when I read this post. Sorry it is slightly long. Love you!

"A psalmist's life looks just like yours, and the psalmist's song is never more clearly heard in the portals of heaven than when he offers his praise as a sacrifice in the darkest of nights.....Ask any songwriter of our time and he or she will tell you that the clearest and deepest words God grants the soul are often those that come in a dark season of life. One of the dearest treasures in your darkness will be the God-song He will give you if you'll receive it. To stand in the presence of the Lord when you'd rather go to bed and never get up, and to praise Him in the night when taunting voices tell you to curse Him - these things are nothing less than a battle cry of victory."
