Yes, it IS a grandmother thing. It is because we love them SO-O much, you would never know how much until you are a grandmother....and get to see them so seldom. Even those kids who live just an hour away we don't get to see enough.
I had Lisa and the kids here this week and it was so much fun....just hanging out in our pjs....or making cookies together or coloring together or teaching the baby to throw kisses or whatever. Just the sound of their sweet voices makes my heart sing!
